Mr. Postlewait completed his undergraduate studies in accounting at Eastern Illinois University in Charleston, Illinois.  He attended law school at Oklahoma University School of Law and earned his law degree in 1984. He has continuously practiced law in Decatur and Macon County.

Mr. Postlewait maintains a generally diverse civil practice in which he concentrates on insurance and business litigation, commercial real estate, estate planning, probate, business and commercial transactions, and agricultural and health care law.  He is licensed in the state of Illinois and has been admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court Central District, U.S. Court of Appeals, and U.S. District of Michigan. 

Mr. Postlewait accomplishments have been acknowledged by professional organizations which include being recognized as an AV (highest possible rating) peer rated attorney by Martindale-Hubbell and Illinois Leading Lawyers.
